Treatment
Treatment sessions may be scheduled in 30, 45 and 60 minute increments 1-3 times per week pending the client's need for services.
Please note:
- A physician's referral is required prior to scheduling of a voice evaluation.
- A speech-language pathologist may conduct a clinical evaluation to determine if there are signs and symptoms of a swallowing disorder. If signs/symptoms are present, the client will be referred for a Modified Barium Swallow study (MBS), a radiographic assessment used to diagnose or rule out a disorder. Swallowing treatment will only commence after the study has been performed and a treatment plan (based on test results) can be established.
