Bodylink Speech Therapy offers speech and language services to both children and adults.
Bodylink now offers Scientific Learning's Fast ForWord® and Reading Assistant™—products designed to help struggling readers build the cognitive skills needed to read and learn effectively. These products and the science behind them have been featured in Time, Newsweek, and The Wall Street Journal.
Fast ForWord software uses interactive, animated exercises adapted to each student's skill level. Students work 30 to 90 minutes a day, five days a week for four to twelve weeks. Each day's results are transmitted to Scientific Learning, which produces reports used to guide a student's progress.
Reading Assistant strengthens fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension with advanced speech recognition technology and scientifically-based interventions. Students in grades 2-5 using the Reading Assistant twice a week for four months experienced on average 43% increase in fluency gains over norms.

Treatment
Treatment sessions may be scheduled in 30, 45 and 60 minute increments 1-3 times per week pending the client's need for services.
Please note:
- A physician's referral is required prior to scheduling of a voice evaluation.
- A speech-language pathologist may conduct a clinical evaluation to determine if there are signs and symptoms of a swallowing disorder. If signs/symptoms are present, the client will be referred for a Modified Barium Swallow study (MBS), a radiographic assessment used to diagnose or rule out a disorder. Swallowing treatment will only commence after the study has been performed and a treatment plan (based on test results) can be established.
