
Bodylink Speech Therapy is a private speech therapy practice founded by Monica Lowy, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSHH, APP. Ms. Lowy earned a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at New York University in 1996 and has been a New York State licensed clinician for 14 years. During that time, she has served in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, early intervention and homecare. Ms. Lowy holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a two-time recipient of ASHA's Award for Continuing Education. She is trained in PROMPT, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (through the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy), Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy (LMRVT) and the Compton P-ESL Accent Modification Program. Ms. Lowy has been an Associate Polarity Practitioner since 1999. She attended the Soma Psyche Institute in New York City and studied CranioSacral technique with the Upledger Institute and with Reese Williams, L.A.c, RPP. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology, the American Polarity Therapy Association, The American CranioSacral Therapy Association and the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners.
